TOR DIVIDE 2025: we are doing it again

Post by Valerio »

Hi All,

After the success of the first edition of Tor Divide, and the amount of positive feedback and encouragement received, we've decided to run Tor Divide again next year.
Tor Divide is a bikepacking event in the Peak District, and "easy" enough to be accessible to those who aren't ultra-athletes or have lots of spare time to take off work, but at the same time is challenging enough to make it rewarding for those who complete it.

I've just put a limited number of early bird tickets on sale. I'm sharing this with the event subscribers as well as the groups that have helped me getting into cycling and bikepacking, this forum obviously being one.
This is the kind of event I would have liked to have on my doorstep when I first looked into bikepacking, and I hope it can help the local bikepacking community to grow:

TOR DIVIDE

I believe those from the forum who attended had (mostly) a really good time and you can find some really good photos and reports here:

I really hope to see as many of you there as possible, and look forward to meeting more of you at the BB200 this week.

ok so shockingly, the 40 early bird tickets have sold out already....

Tickets are still available on the website while stock lasts.

Tracker hire for dot-watching is also available separately for those keen to share their progress with friends and family (or just to stop them from worrying too much!)

Saw this an hour after you posted it. Made a note to mention it to the boss when I got home from work before I committed not expecting that would cost me an extra £20! I enjoyed my hobby more when it was unfashionable.

Yeah I expected a few to go out quickly, but not like that!!!!

I totally get whete you're coming from! If you're planning to hit it in one go, the ticket includes camping at the event HQ on Friday and Saturday...hopefully that helps saving some money later on!

Campervan should be OK and I anticipate there will be a few people planning to do the same. I just need to work out where to put them depending on number of cars, tents, and campers.

Current plan is to keep tents and vehicle separate but I might revisit that depending on space.
The good thing is that we have the entire place for ourselves!
