Second day of inermittent fasting today (aside from the ramadhan fasting which is always full-on and finished a few days ago). Been using this app free version https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... fastic.app

My biggest problem is eating late. So yesterdays meal at 2000 was my last, been hydrating and will have my breakfast at about 12 today. Expecting good results God Willing. Would've bought the paid version for £29 but money's a bit tight. It gives the option to photo your food and AI calculates the calories. Helping stay in a calorie deficit.

---- Starting Weight ----
06/01/24: 69.4kg

---- Past Three Weeks (7 Day Rolling Average) ----
30/03/2024: 63.5kg (-0.4kg)
06/04/2024: 63.2kg (-0.3kg)
13/04/2024: 62.5kg (-0.7kg)

Another tough week, weight loss definitely impacting training now. I am at the point where I think I can add in a few more calories though (I'd be happy enough with ~0.3kg a week weight loss).

Bizarrely I'm up 2kg over the last two days. No obvious intake reasons, can only assume hormonal oddness.

Stupid bodies.

Yeah... body being very strange this week. Really not sure what's going on.

I don't want to, but I might need to cut a few more calories to make it do something different.

1st Target - 62kg by 04/05/2024.

Had to make some modifications to get past a strange plateau, but basically back on target. Just need to make sure I don't lose focus now that I'm fairly close to being where I need to be.

19/4 - 75.8kg...something not quite right between this week and last. I've been pretty decent this week and haven't gone up by the 0.8 kg my scales are saying I have. Suspect last week's was out. On to next week.

Thanks. It's hard going, but I think what makes the biggest difference to my consistency is having a target event.

I don't want to spend a bunch of money / time to go to an event without having got myself into the condition necessary to actually complete it. Might not seem a lot of weight, but going from even say, 69kg to 64kg takes some hills from impossible to (barely) achievable.

Hardest thing for me right now is that I've started feeling a bit discouraged by not making progress in my training. But the reality is (unless you're untrained) you're unlikely to make meaningful power increases whilst also losing weight.

1st Target - 62kg by 04/05/2024 - Achieved.
2nd Target - 60kg for 10/07/2024 (Salzkammergut).

Decent week of training, and a surprisingly big drop. I'll take it. Going to try and find my maintenance level over the next few weeks and focus more on training quality.
