Looking at a couple of discounted 700c wheelsets on Wiggle/Chain Reaction to have as a second set for the gravel bike (currently have 650b wheelset with 50mm tyres)
Usage will be sealed roads and forest tracks
One set has 24mm internal rim width, other has 19mm internal rim width.
To be run tubeless with 38mm or 40mm tyres.
Price is similar, although the 24mm width set is slightly pricier but maybe better quality.
24mm set has hookless rims, 19mm set has hooked rims
So trying to decide which wheelset, main question is the internal rim widths?

Re: Wheelset choice
Thanks.
Can't see me ever putting anything less than 38mm tyres on them to be honest.
Hooked or hookless, I don't know, probably not a big deal either way, just not so familiar with hookless.
Re: Wheelset choice
What wheelset?
I have a Prime Baroudeur Disc Rear( Wiggle) about 2 months old running a 38 mm tubeless without issue. Freewheel ia not the quickest to pick up but its fine. Not overly noisy nor is it silent.

Re: Wheelset choice
Yeah, the Prime Baroudeur is one of them (19mm internal), the other is the Prime Orra (24mm internal)
