What we need more of if renewables are to expand.
Reflow is an interesting technology

grid battery
As well as having England's largest wind turbine (soon to power an electric buses terminal as well as the town), we also have the UK's first grid-level battery storage facility just round the corner from our gaff (now where are those house-sized jump leads  ): "The 6MW/10MWh battery is famed for being the UK’s first grid-scale battery storage facility. Ian Cameron, head of innovation at UK Power Networks, described Leighton Buzzard as an “exceptional innovation project” that provided “world class technical and commercial insights” for the developing market".

Oh, and a large solar/wind car charging station was given planning permission in the town just yesterday so I reckon we're doing our bit here  . The solar field will also grow veg and flowers around the panels - agrivoltaic farming - so it's not "wasting valuable farming land". I read the other day that veg actually grow much better in those conditions.

So yes, it's all waste of time... no point trying to do anything.. but but China... etc etc

:-P
