Water water everywhere, nightmare getting around Shrewsbury at the moment, we should be going via Welshpool/Newtown on Saturday morning, no more rain forecasted so hopefully will be clear by then :YMPRAY: but will check on the morning.

We're heading anti clockwise to Trawsfynydd via Mach and Doll, about 40% gravel (if it ain't grey and obvious on Google Earth we aint' going that way), hoping for food at the pub and then a lie down somewhere close by, before going over Bwlch y Groes and back.

First time back in the vicinity since BB200 in 2021 (and first forum post in years), I can practically see the Dyfnant from my home office window, quite excited, ask me again on Sunday

Not 100%, but it's not looking like I'm going to make it. Not the bike for once.

Really busy with work (still working as of the time of this post), and just don't see myself being able to get away. A real shame as it looks nice for once.

Rich, no one ever said on their deathbed "I wish I'd worked more". Ditch the work and ride your bike!!

That was strange. Had a dream in which someone had a go of my bike at the start gathering and snapped the frame near the BB. Erm, please could you have dream tonight Stu where you hire me a loan bike? Or, as it's a steel P7, do an emergency weld?

Then again, I now remember it was a WRT gathering so maybe all's well after all.

Happy to report that last night was the first one to contain stars for quite some time. It departed leaving a slightly misty and cold morning with a little frost / ice. The sky now contains some blue bits and the house smells of freshly baked cake*

*but it has done for a couple of days.

Sixty some riders have left the building and are now enjoying a reasonably pleasant afternoon in the hills, pubs and cafes. Forecast is for a cold but dry night, so that's a bonus. :-bd

Sadly without work I aint got a house, and in this weather my death bed would be more of a death grass verge!

So I got the goodies today Stu. Intrigued by what appears to be some sort of hacking device that came with the battery!
