Wtd: Turbo trainer

Post by Keith74 »

I like most have all these great ideas for the new year and one includes getting fitter so looking to see if anyone has a turbo trainer in the back of the cupboard doing nothing they would sell?

Realistically it will probably get used twice then put in the garage but got to atleast try.

What you got before I go spend a pretty penny on a new one?

Older tacx flow, powered brake to simulate load, gives power numbers, not smart

I got a tacx booster you could have for some beer tokens but would have to be picked up. Where you based as I’m in East Sussex.

Big savings on a 'wheel on' Elite one at Sigma Sports at the mo: https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Elite/ ... ainer/NNQ0 Not sure I believe the 73% saving on RRP, but £130 is a bargain regardless.

Hi, I have an old Tacx Flow smart I want to sell. In Glasgow so not too far away if you were heading this way. One of these.

https://www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/690890

Needs to be QR rear wheel, although I think you can buy bolt through convertors. That any use?

Also have the "trainer tyres" in 26 and 700c (23mm I think) to fit as it's a "wheel on" one.

Stuart.
