Vitoria Cannoli 29+ bulk buy?

Post by PaulE »

Is anyone interested in some brand new 29*3.0 Vitoria Cannoli tubeless tyres? Combination of offers on eBay means they come in at £31 each if I buy 6 tyres... Ideally people in the Sheffield/Manchester/Nottingham area to avoid postal charges

I'm stocked up on Knards for life now.

But it's only a few pence more here for 1 or 2 https://sportandleisure.com/products/vi ... -snow-bike

I'm after 2x 29+ tyres for my Singular Rooster. I'm probably going to get Maxxis Rekon 2.8 for £47 each end.
Are these Vittoria any good for all year round mtb riding ? £33 seems good price for plus tyres.

are they actually tubeless?
I have the bombolini , from ebay, and its not a tubeless ready tyre though I have set them up tubeless and they do hold air*, i cannot recall how long that took ,they have been on about a year , and i certainly lost air from them initially [ though never the bead]

the bombolini tread is too shallow, IMHO, for proper mud and i suspect this one is a bit grippy for summer use. ie one is a winter tyre and one is summer tyre.
i use rekkons in winter but its a 650b+ version and they seem ok its mainly hardpack or moor where i am
YMMV

* they come folded i definitely needed an inner tube and iirc it kept the bead on one side when i removed it after a day or so but no way is the folded version going up [even using a compressor i tried] as its pretty out of shape.

I'm very happy with one on the back, and a minion DHF up front. Never used on the front yet, but can't see it being bad

They're the non-tubeless ones... Needs to say TNT otherwise they're far too loose. https://sportandleisure.com/products/vi ... ow-bike-tr Same company selling on eBay, but with bulk buy and 15% coupon combined
