Ooh you'll have to change the name to the BB200i

My worry is that as it's invite only, and we all know what to expect, Stu will try even harder to exceed our expectations :???:

That sounds like something you'd have a nightmare about...

I'll bring the packraft in that case!

What could be worse is Stu sending us on multiple loops of a short course so that the OS green dashed lines actually have a marked route on the ground

I always felt he was contacted by a "lost ways" team that wanted a path to show on the ground where one didn't exist before

I’m curious to see what form this takes as I’ve been planning to enter next year.

I support any reasonable attempt to prevent people getting themselves (and potentially others) into trouble when they don’t have the relevant skills/experience to limit the risks (even ‘experts’ can get caught out, but you get my point, I hope).

Even if that means I don’t get an ‘invite’.

I signed up to BB200 in 2022 and then found myself between jobs about a month before the event.

I hope my spot got filled and I really appreciated Stuart refunding me for it.
Thank you Sir.

With hindsight it was a blessing I couldn't take part as my bike at the time was a cx bike. I really did not fully appreciate what I was signing up to.

Very interesting to see this year's stats.
There's a fairly high % of DNF but I'd have thought it to be common for these events.
I actually expected there would be fewer black badges.

That's about a mile from home. The mighty Maun thwarting would be travellers (gravellers) again.

Perhaps I would have finished it anyway....although I doubt it.

I had never ridden in the night nor for more than 12-13hrs at the time.
At least this time I had experienced that TWICE 😅 but more importantly, I had a much more appropriate bike.
