Was musing about dynamo setups and thinking about pedalcell (even if if looks a bit odd to me) and spotted this

Shame.
Looked promising.
Powerful but unreliable.
Not enough development and improvements.
A bit Heath Robinson in a British way.
It really needed to be of velogical built quality to be reliable.
Hopefully someone will develop an improved version.

Whilst I'm no expert on such systems I always doubted whether the Pedalcell could really cope with muddy off road conditions, despite the assurances that it could. If it was so good, I very much doubt the company would be closing and I never really heard much about them apart from write ups from their ambassadors who no doubt were given the products.
I went for a Son dynamo set up which I've been very pleased with.
