Looks like public pressure against the apartheid system on Palestine might reach critical mass soon (maybe over the coming years). Pity I couldn't at the time of South Africa (not sure I knew how). But... when it does and suddenly the politicians start speaking on 'the other foot' and how they always 'stood against Palestinians being abused', (lying pigs) I wish to have been one that maybe made a difference!

Anyway, this is what's up for grabs as it might finally get me building the Highball. Probably won't sell both items, but we shall see. All (well, most) moneys going to try and help the Palestinians who are currently on the brink of being (almost) wiped out. Most/all aid convoys are waiting to be allowed in as (from the reports of aid agencies I've seen, they're being targeted/killed and not allowed in).

Tundra -5 bag. Same as this one https://www.tundrasleepingbags.com/slee ... re-minus-5 and hardly used outside at all. Zipper on the right side and in case you don't know, these bags aren't super slim/tight. £230 delivered

Pinnacle Ramin (3+ I think it is). Has the lovely eccentric bottom bracket. Lots of battle scars but only evident if you look for em (around bottom bracket). No pedals but nice cranks. Carbon rear wheel and a Kinlin front. Both with 3.0 Chronicle 27.5 tyres and Hope hubs.

XTR rear mech and XT cassette with a (warning, it is a bit worn on the big ring but others are all fine and I've had no slippages so far) 42 biggest sprocket. 28t up front currently but that might change depending on which cranks I decide to let it go with.

Carbon Nuke Proof Horizon (or the equivalents of whatever era they were called when I bought em) bars and XT shifter. 1 x 11 drivetrain. Nice dropper post which I only added new earlier this year (older one seemed like it had play, but so does this... thus it must've been in my head!!) and it's routed through the frame - spoke to designer before making a hole in it to find the optimum position.

Shimano SLX brakes with upgraded fluid running through. So stopping feels nice but bite point is a bit off after it's stored upright (this sorts itself out in the first few presses and it's got some nice braking). Rigid/original forks. Frame only £85 posted (or higher if you feel I'm underselling) and it'll come with the eccentric BB shell thingy. Full bike £800 but open to talking about it if there's a genuine interest or you think I've overpriced it (I really haven't).

First refusal to the person who was supposed to buy it a couple years ago after a BB200 but the brakes were playing up (so I had to cencel the sale, sorry). Will be delivered if needed but a range of a 100 or so miles (petrol contribution welcomed).

Let me know if pics needed :-bd

Hey Shaf, is this my old one? I’d be up for the fork and frame if you are happy to post? Happy to pay a bit more too.

But I appreciate you may want to wait to see if you have any offers for the entire bike!

Oooh, nice one. It's yours mate. Pennies make pounds as they say and it'll be an £80/£85 or so quid appreciated by someone out there in the humanitarian effort (once it's allowed to be conducted by the worlds so called super powers). Yes, can definitely post it.

Let me do one last ride on it (love that bike :-bd ) and I'll message ya to arrange postage etc...

Thanks v much Alex. Sometimes it feels like the few pounds we can give is pointless, but in actual fact it never is. Every little helps and now that the frame is sold I think I have a few more bits that could go.

There's actually a tory minister that's taking Rishi and his govt to court under 'complicit in genocide and war crimes' so hopefully in the coming years the abuse/suffering and one sided reporting against the Palestinian (not just in Gaza of whom about 70% are children) people will end.

Alex, I forgot to tell you that I made a hole in it (after consulting the chief engineer for advice) for a dropper. Sale/details for that below but rest assured, you'll get first refusal. I think it still has around 15 months warranty remaining too which I'm not sure is transferable... but I'll try and share the reciept etc.

Hi Shad

I would love to add pressure,,( sorry make a contribution to a good cause ) it ain't over just because you don't have the yanks on your side.

I would be also interested in wheels or brakes if they are up for sale.

Cheers Stuart

Hi Stuart... Brakes I might end up keeping as it seems the upgrades (TRP SLATE) might end up being a downgrade. But, the wheels I suppose I have no reason to hold on to other than the bling factor (more details below).

Carbon HALO one end and one of the wide Kinlins other. Hope hubs PRO4 which as you know can take plenty of options to make em fat or thin or thru axle or skewered. But the main talking point is the Sapim spokes. Did alot of research and got the lightest they make for XC. Stronger (or strong as the) bladed Sapims (are they called Laser!?) but even lighter.

Chronicles both ends. Make us an offer* and if you want pics I'll get some sorted  The carbon one (up back) has got a slight notch of a wobble (more like in my head as I built em 2000 miles ago) but it really is only a tiny fraction. I'd been meaning to iron this out after checking it in the jig but nothing of concern :-bd

*Can't promise I'd accept so do put in some thought to keep it 'grabby'

Hi Mick. Shall I pop your name on it provisionally until I get to removing and checking the length. Currently on an 18" Ramin 3+. But it's a curved seattube so couldn't take a longer version (longer drop too) I ordered previously, so I think you'll be in good stead.

Hi Dyffers. Sorry, but the lever isn't included. I upgraded to a Bonty you see and will be keeping it. Previous/original lever was sold to yhe buyer of my previous/worn dropper. Soz :-bd

If that's still ok then indeed you can get 2nd dibs :-bd

Ah, misread it as including the lever, sorry. Cheapest lever seems to be £20-25 which puts it much closer to the price of a brand new post. Not definitely out but probably.

Just been looking at prices of the lever kits and wanted to share... The Bonty levers are good and is what I upgraded to when the Brnad X lever (from an old post, when I tried to remove it) frazzled out due to the really cheap tiny bolts.

The ugrade to the Bonty was such a massive difference in that the fingers/thumbs wouldn't get 'hurty' anymore. That was with using xtr inners/outers (or equivalent).

Doing some browsing it seems there's people trying to sell the Brand X lever kit for £25  Don't know what they're playing at but IMO they're ready for the bin and the Bonty is a much lighter action as well as slightly more adjustable. Just my 2 pence.

Dropper now dropped to £39 (posted)
