Good news all you mad mad people...

I called the takeaway at R... 80ish miles on the clock, near the CoOp.

Anyway... It closes at 0300 (God Willing). Keep going ladies and gents as food is just round (a few more of) the corner(s).

Solid going :-bd Such good news...

I recieved the route Friday so as today was such a nice day it seemed like a good idea to get one of the old motorbikes out and see if i could get some pictures of people enjoying themselves

Thanks for that update Alex. Still can't wuite believe these times you achieve  Surreal

I might see if the glass back is working ok, to try and get an attempt in for the middle of the week. Obviously as long as pots of things align nicely. I'm hoping (well, not hoping, but fully expecting) for a record aswell. But the course-slowest record

I doubt they saw many customers, I was a little behind those in the pictures with plenty behind me. I got there at 12 this lunchtime

No-one is beating that on that course next week. I'll bet £50 for Welsh Air Ambulance.

I'm still not entirely sure how it's possible as I'm fairly certain I spent that long in *** areas redacted ***.

Oh, and after next week's is done, I'd love to get some more photos from people as I'm struggling to describe some of the areas adequately.

The bow waves through hub deep puddle after hub deep puddle after hub deep puddle would have been impressive

I don't know if it was just bad choices for crossings, but I got my nuts wet a couple of times.

( or maybe I'm just getting old  )

Or maybe you've just got big cojones  . Certainly an impressive feat anyway.

A decent speed and subsequent bow wave would have kept them dry ;)

I'd love to see someone try! Theres definatley time to be made up, i lost time going the wrong way at the start! I also lost my saddle dry bag from my holster so had to retrace my steps up a sizeable climb, not to mention countless poor navigation choices, and documenting the whole trip on my phone!

Blimey that was ridiculously hard. I actually got through the bit that most people were moaning about OK. It was the flaming lakes / byways that caused the sense of humour failure. Pizza at Llanwrtyd Wells saved the day.
31 hrs and 1 minute!
I am now broken...
