^^^ That's a shame Shaf, sorry to hear it.

Well, with three hours until I hit the road, I'm nearly done faffing but I suspect that I'll still be messing about until 5 minutes before lift off.

When 1700 comes I'll see about calling the takeaway and asking em nicely if they might stay open til 0030 :-bd

Hopefully the word spreads and I'll do same for next weeks

Have a good ride you all  Maybe next time!
Nooo - that's not good 😢

If you can get in for the second weekend you can laugh at me sliding round on your old tyre...

Do you fancy a trip to Pym Chiar this weekend. Good training ride for ya. I have a route made up that's only 90 miles and it's all gorgeous. Depart similar time as these hard lot

Sadly I'm busy Saturday and already contemplating a trip to near Stoke on Sunday to pick up a GPS unit (which is already a fair trek from Sheffield. That'll be more than enough training for me. Anyway, if your back's up to that you should be in Wales...

I was just nodding off to sleep last night when I realised I hadn't loaded the route onto the Garmin!

I'm hoping that the weather in mid-wales is better than what we are having at the moment, just went to get the trail food for tomorrow and got soaked. Not as if it was a rogue shower either.

Thanks Jon. I think I'll most likely stay local (or drive down and take some snaps of the riders mid-excitement...

All the best to those who are riding/pushing/carrying the BB200 or 300 this weekend.

I would say I wish I was there, but that may not be strictly true...

Have fun out there, whatever type you can find.

And remember, every step or stroke of the pedals is progress and brings you nearer to the end... Keep moving.

Bit of a late one but any chance anyone is going to be driving through caersws this eve and be able to give me a lift, a few hours of train delays and cancellations mean that the shakedown ride to llanbrynmair isn’t as enticing now

Cheers

Well it’s pouring with rain from Newtown to mac. Still for one I am here in the hotel, having dinner then packing the bike and going to bed. Hope the forecast is actually true!!

Shame about the rain tonight. Will make things much slower.

I gave up on the bike and headed up. Will sort in the morning.

Just messing. But I do plan to try and ensure I'm not missing the 23 addition (as well as the 22 edition) from my CV. Maybe during the week or summat!
