Well that looks like it’s going to be fun. Sadly I am at work so I can’t spend more than 5 mins looking at it.

Hopefully it’s not as bad as it looks!

I've just fly-by'd it, never looks so bad that way. I'd like to get over the big lumpy bit before sunset, last time it was dark, how I laughed all the way across.

Does anyone know why, when I load my map into MyMaps so I can view amenities. It won't load up the title after being saved! Ta..

Thanks Stu - Numpty here just twigged what I'd done when I was walking the dogs and rushed back to edit my indiscretion. Sorry, I was overcome by a heady mix of exhilaration and dread when I typed it.

Urghhh... I've done the section around half way (200) a few times before. It's a slog.

Daft question

Is the 200 a clockwise or anticlockwise loop, just want to confirm the turn or not at the end of the lollipop stick

Cheers Stu.

Not going anywhere near where I thought we were! Ah well! The 50km from around the 75km mark looks, err, interesting

Riderdown - looks like anticlockwise to me.

Not a great deal of... anything.

Edit - Barely even on Strava heatmaps.

Timings will be interesting. Going to be cutting it close on a couple of shops based on the average speeds I'm expecting / hoping for.

If it's anticlockwise, the faster riders should be ok, I'm looking forward to rolling past the shops and takeaways long after they close

Spotted one pub a bit off course on the western extreme that allegedly serves food to 9

I'm going to go with Garmin as it thinks it's ONLY 206.19 km Distance 3,931 m Total Ascent 3,931 m Total Descent as opposed to Komoot that thinks it's 215 km, 4,310 m A, 4,310 m D.

Stu, you make the same mistake I do in thinking/believing/trusting that people actually read instructions or help that you write

I read it, did something else, finally worked out how I could view it without paying for another subscription, went ooo, aaaahhh, rechecked didn't see it and decided to ask

I have done better than the poster who started naming places.......

There's a river crossing I can see, but I can't seem to see any sort of actual crossing... given the size of the river I really hope it's just the various satellite pics not being particularly detailed.
