Garmin Oregon 650 help

Post by FLV »

Any experts around?

I've just bought an Oregon 650 and when I have tried to put files on using basecamp it says there are corrupt files and tells me to delete them. However, when I try to do that, it tells me I don't have the permissions to do so.

Does this sound familiar to anyone before I get a refund and send it back?

Cheers

We've got a 650. I just use file explorer on a PC and drag and drop.
Does that work?

Nope, similar error.

Asks me to use Admin level access, then it denies access and says all users must grant access.

I don't use Basecamp, but is Garmin Express needed?

Hi
The oregan will also connect to the garmin connect app via Bluetooth, this is how I do all my route transfers on my edge and Fenix, might be worth trying that.

I read this somewhere, but for the life in me I can not get it to work

Are you using garmin connect on the PC, or an android device? Could you let me know what two devices are connecting via bluetooth?

My Oregon is a 650t
