Like Allan Quatermain.

On a slightly different note; I've still two 2 gen SPOTs - can be had for little money.

For all those who dislike integral batteries/USB charging: they run on AAA batteries

I have Rich, but you'd need to pay the monthly tracking charge, as it's on hold until May. About £12 I think. Gen 3.

Hi Rich, sorry - add the money to the Jennride pot. The tracker is live, I'll make sure it's tracking and get it set up for you.
I've PM'd you.

Anyone got a spare Spot I could borrow for the November BB200 please?

Obviously happy to pay funds, just contacted Spot and don't quite fancy stumping the £70 fees just a one off event.

Cheers 👍

Drop me an email Chris@highbark.co.uk

There's only a months activation to pay (about £15 I think?) And postage. Can't remember if there are batteries in it.

Can anyone make use of an old Spot 1?

It just sits in a drawer now un-used

Does anybody have an inreach that they are willing to hire out? Need on 30/6 - 2/7 for the NYM300. Loathed to be fleeced by st to renew mine and fancy seeing if Garmin is the way to go longer term.

Please PM me if you do with details and prices etc.

Cheers

I have ridden my bike since the middle of December and also have filled in the DD entry, so if anyone has a tracker after Boab gets sorted let me know

That reminds me, I need to cancel my half filled out entry. Damaged my wrist the other week at the ice rink, don't think pounding it off road for a few days anytime soon, is a good idea... 😖

Hi,

Has anybody got a spot tracker or Ireach that I could borrow/hire for a trip from 17/4-1/5? Obviously happy to pay towards your costs of subscription, postage etc.

If I was to borrow an Ireach, what are the best airtime options and costs for a short trip ie less than a month? I might be able to borrow one from a friend but doubt it has a current subscription and seem to remember an old post on here ref. different airtime providers etc.

Thanks.

Hi folks,

New to posting after being a lurker for many years. I was wondering if someone had a spot/in reach any sort of tracker that would work with track leaders that I could borrow for up to a year? Or selling one?

I’m racing HT550 in May, then Colorado trail in August and maybe Arizona in October. Not entirely sure which side of winter I’ll return to the UK or if I’ll have any legs left by Christmas but at least with a satellite tracker I might be able to locate them easily!

Gracias amigos

I have a SPOT Gen 3 which I'd sell for £21.50 posted. The BUT is that one of the strap mounts has broken.
