Blimey that all looks like strong stuff!
For a change I'm currently on a Brewdog 'Lost Lager.' Aside from all the carbon negative (what?) claims, it's quite nice. Oh and only 4.5% although that puts it at the top end of my usual ABV target.

Noted Shaff. I'm down to my last 10 liters of Ethyl Alcohol that Reg made me buy for stove fuel, and at the current rate will last the rest of my most optimistic life forecast. I keep thinking about trying to drink it (suitably watered down) but not had the courage yet, so will not bother. 3.8% cans it is!

Go on then, I'll start us off. Daughter Perrin home from Sheffield so having a Thornbridge. Had this 'Superuser' (bit of a one for an ex-IT dude there) in the cupboard for a while cos a bit too strong at 7. Anyroad, a Ruby Ale (named after Stu's pooch) - "big and bold, inviting malt base bringing plenty of toffee and sweet orange. Huge punchy notes of grapefruit and pineapple". Well that's three of my five a day right there so that's all good.

Oh, can anyone see where the piece is to fit just above the antique chair in me jigsaw please? If there's a more futile pastime than jigsaws I'd like to know what it is, although it's a good way of emptying your brain (easy in my case).

In Gales Wine Bar in Llangollen on the way to my March BaM. A pint of Auric from the Salopian Brewery. Just the sort of beer I like -an IPA, light, not too strong at 4%, with a nice citrus flavour.

I think I might have another before I decamp to the Dee Pizza shop for a chicken kebab wrap before some climbing to my bivvy spot (which I hope is still there. It's a couple of years since I was last there.

Lychee? Think I'll give this Zoo Brew "Merlin's Own" a whirl. Hand crafted in Carmarthen it says 'ere. Made out of elephants or something.

Elephant's what?

Yes, the lychee and mango did give it a slightly different fruity taste from usual citrusy flavours but it was ok. Not sure I'd seek it out again though. Like I said was a leaving gift and all the beers they chose were strong. It's like they assumed I have a drink problem or something.

By the looks of it, it could this could easily have been brewed using elephant's piss. Tastes ok though.

Lychees are quite nice as fresh fruit too, slightly chilled. Like eating cold eyeballs.

When Reggie Perrin's team at Sunshine Desserts brought out some new ice-cream flavours one of his marketing man's slogans was "I'd like to stroke my nipple with a strawberry and lychee ripple". So there you go, the possibilities are endless.

 Yes, to be fair, there is nothing I like better than eating a cold eyeball apart from, that is, stroking my nipples with ice cream. Any variety will do but I would be tempted by the more exotic flavours. I'm not going to Google it but there must be some dark corner of the web with videos of such freakery. Ok, maybe the once...

New "craft beer shop" opened on the High Street so I thought I'd better do my bit and bought a few. Wish me luck with this Easter themed one....

Six States New England White IPA. An Aldi brew that's really good, esp if you like weissbeer or Hoegarden. Yellow/gold can, £1.79 440ml.

IPA not especially exciting. Kakawa chocolate stout (Thornbridge) much better.
