Target = 76kg
Starting weight 1/1/23 = 88.4kg
7/1/23 = 85.8kg
14/1/23 = 85.6kg
20/1/23 = 85.7kg
28/1/23 = 84.6kg
5/2/23 = 87.6kg
11/2/23 = 82.6kg

Scratching my head over this weeks weigh-in, as I'm still quite poorly and doing zero activity. Realised my scales are probably pretty poor show plus I really should be weighing myself on the same day & time each week...🤨

LOL...yep so close but so far. Outlook not good though as I'm back home to see my hospitalised Mum in a couple of days and the thought of battered haggis & chips is strong. Thinking of taking the running kit.

Spent about 16 ish hours on the bike this week. But had a holiday in the Cake District where beer, cake and good (bad) food was eaten.

Pretty happy with a slight loss too.

Work has been very busy - delivering 7 hours of training a day, in the office, every day for two weeks plus doing my normal work day around it as well as at weekends has meant exercise opportunities have been limited.
Office closed down for a week while the hVAC system gets fixed though so renewed focus.

Weight is still going down though!

A good tip is to weight yourself each day, then plot the mean/average weight over the week. Helps deal with the daily fluctuations. Plot the week on week progress and as long as it is trending downwards, you're golden

Target - 89kg ish
Jan 1st 100kg 15st 9.5lb
Jan 12th 98.5kg 15st 7.0lb
Jan 19th 97.7kg 15st 5.5lb
Jan 26th 96.84kg 15st 3.5lb
Feb 2nd 96.84kg 15st 3.5lb
Feb 9th 96.0kg 15st 1.75lb
Feb 15th 95.5kg 15st 0.5lb

Still yoga'ing .... went to Decathlon and bought a 25kg and 45kg resistance band to supplement the 15kg & 35kg I had. I'm not strong enough yet for the 45 but it's there.
I've also dropped from 60 press-ups to 20 but trying to do better form ... quality not quantity.
On a 34 day streak on the 10,000 steps
Cycled 58 miles in the last 7 days so beating my 40mile a week target.
And down 1.25lb .... which I'm very pleased with.... 14.* is almost within my grasp. Could still take a couple of weeks though, I know how these things work !
I'm 9lb down, 2 lb over half a stone. Definitely worth it.

I'm incredibly fooked

Not had a good couple of weeks with physical issues and so the black dog has been circling, and I've been very up and down with eating though not binging. I'll weigh in Friday, but I'm not expecting any good news. If I can get my body back out of limp mode it'll help with the mood and food.

Good going the rest of you :-bd

Treat Friday as a new start, rather than a nagative. It doesn't matter what it says Friday, as long as you still keep trying again.

I’ve worked hard to not put on this week thinking that the Lakes would catch up with me but I’ve maintained. Which is good.

Dehydrated foods and sweets whilst on a bikepacking trip didn’t affect me thankfully.

06/01/3023 - 87.9kg
13/01/2023 - 85.9kg
20/01/2023 - 85.7kg
27/01/2023 - 85.7kg
03/02/2023 - 84.8kg
10/02/2023 - 83.8kg
17/02/2023 - 83.4kg

After a pretty disciplined week with a good few miles on the bike, slower progress than I’d hoped for. At least I’m still heading in the right direction, though, so mustn’t grumble.

10.02.2023 118.3kg
17.02.2023 120kg

Down 2.9kg or a standard traditional face brick

Not been great mentally or physically, and body is feeling pretty inflamed with heavy aching legs, but will do better on the food front. I've not been particularly 'bad' as such, just not deiticious

10/02/23 73.1kg

39.3 km run since the last weigh in. I'm trying to up my protein and veg consumption while decreasing my sugar and that seems to be doing the trick at the moment.

I'm not participating this week.

Too much work, three failed attempts at going riding and lots of quickly grabbed meals means that no good can come of standing of the scales of doom this week.

I can see a similar outcome on Weds.... 2 nights out with too much beer can't be good for the scales.. :???:

1st jan 99.8kg
1st feb 99.7kg
8th feb 97kg (new scales!)
16th feb 97.6kg

Biking workload was going well, last Saturday slept badly on a travelodge bed then rode for 7 hours/120km in the cold - started with pain, ended up with rotator cuff tendinitis and couldn’t move shoulder. Crazy painful, thought I’d be out for weeks, as it is managed to get back on the mountain bike this Sunday for a four hour effort so pleased that I’m not cancelling wrt yet. Going to cut out the booze this week and see what that does
