Autoimmune disease.

Post by Richpips »

As some of you know I've been unwell a couple of times over the last couple of years seemingly without reason.

Anyways they've done a shed load of tests recently which have been coming back in dribs and drabs.

The most recent ones have had a number of results that suggest some of my antibodies are trying to do me in.

Lupus looks like a contender.

Has anyone had to deal with such things?

(Feeling healthy and chipper currently 😁)

No experience or advice, but good to hear you're chipper, and fingers crossed the miracles of modern medicine can sort you out!

Dee's SiL has / had Lupus. It went undiagnosed for a long time but she's now on medication for it, like a totally different person and lives a perfectly normal life.

Lupus?

Is that the one where you grow hair, big teeth and claws every time it's a full moon?

Is there a chance it could be Lymes disease Rich? It can manifest in so many different ways and is regularly mis-diagnosed by medicos.

Absolutely no ideas but wish you the very best.

I just remember it always seemed to be an option in every other House episode. Though basing any advice on that would seem foolish

Healing vibes
