Grrrrrr Bikes for sale complete, F+F or breaking

Post by Richpips »

New Year, and I'm looking to reduce the number of bikes we own. If anyone is interested I'll do some more detail + pictures.

Both are geared for laden riding in hills.

First up a medium Ti Camino, Shimano WH-RX830 QR Disc Wheelset, 2x10 speed. Hope hydro brakes, shimano levers.

Pipedream ALICE medium F+F. 29er hope wheelset with Shimano dynamo. 1 x 10 currently but 2 x bar end shifters. BB7 brakes.

£1000 for the Camino.

£1100 for the ALICE (£500 F+F).

Interested in the Alice F+F, I was actually going to post a wanted ad for one. Not sure if a medium would be my size as I'm just under 6ft.

Bit late to be going out the shed now with a tape to measure my other bikes, and the wind's about 50 mpg outside

Do you know which version it is? I think they tweaked the geometry with each revision, I could then try and look at the numbers tomorrow after work.

I'm 5' 10" if that helps.

It's been a fun bike to own.

I've just counted 12 bikes IN our house. Some need to go.

Hi Rich

After much measuring, re-measuring, looking at geo charts and comparison I think I'd need a large, which is what Pipedream's chart says so I kind of knew that but was trying to convince myself otherwise

I've got quite a long body for my height so the extra 23mm of stack height would help with comfort.

Thanks for the info though.

No problem. No point buying a bike that doesn't fit.
