They call it a dark ruby mild, 5.7%. I imagine it's what a Belgian Dubbel brewer would come up with if you asked them to brew a mild. Tis yum.
Sounds good, will have a look for some.

Glamorgan Brewery Welsh Cake Stout.
Very nice.
It's been one of those days.

(Love all the headings by the way on "active topics" this evening, all seems to be somehow winter related...)

That sounds bloody lovely.

And yes, I'd noticed that too... this thread seems to be following the theme too.

Second coffee here... bit early to be drinking, even if it is December. Maybe this time next week I'll start sneaking the brandy in

The missus has two bottles of zubrowka (apologies for the lack of diacritics) in her vodka collection. Not tried either of them neat yet though.

80 Bottles of Fuller's London Porter just landed here in time for Christmas. I think it may be a merry one.

I started the festive period last night with this. Present wrapping standards went downhill rapidly.

15%. Ouch. New record holder I think. Very "merry" Crimbo certainly. Contrastingly, cup of tea here.

Pineapple juice

Byproduct of toast Hawaii for tea.

Yes, you heard right.

Fashionably retro I'm hoping.

At a family gathering for Christmas Eve, Pint of Mild, a couple of Fosters, another pint of something else, a couple of glasses of Lidl Gluvein a generous G&t and a good measure of Krupnik. My head is spinning. Bedtime, I think….

Vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate porter, 5.2% so a weak beer compared to some recently on here. Not bad at all and nice and Christmasy.

Who brews that then Sean? Cinnamon adds a festive touch to it.

That looks like my fireplace Bear! Why are you roasting a small child on it?

That stout looks nice, you're coming up with some doozies recently. Just Harpers Toffee Ale for me tonight.

Sorry Reg, too busy drinking it to be looking at the forum, and I was watching The Detectirists Christmas special. It's Northern Monk, Festive Star and I got them from Morrisons, bargain at £1.50 each and 4 for the price of 3

The child was roasting their uncle at some form of card game.
