Radr cage extender issue

I have a deore 10 speed with a radr cage extender and a 32t front ring with 11-42 cassette, worked great on my bike I took the whole thing off cable and everything didn't even swap cablejust unbolted the lot and fitted , but it won't work on my lads gt the cable hanger bit rubs on the big rings of the cassette, im confused as it should just bolt on and work , am I missing something silly, ive ordered a fake goat link thing but im sure I shouldn't need it, any ideas ta

Same issue on my Ice cream truck with the QR drop outs. Was fine on the Jones. Just seems to be minor variations in the distance between the mech hanger and the axle position on different frames. I attacked the arm the cable clamps too with a b*stard file and problem was solved.

Glad to see I'm not going mad ive ordered an extender and a new hanger hopefully that fixes it
