light extension?

I'm hoping you can help out...
When I use my front Cradle and light, the light does not shine 100% of the trail due to the bag being in the way. I've got one of them extension jobbies that fits to the bars but its still not quite right.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be done? I've thought of attaching below the bag somehow or on the fork mounts but that comes with a risk of spoke assault!

Can you not just rotate the front pocket round a bit Jeff?
What extension have you got - one of those Amazon specials with the bit of tube held by a couple of clamps? I've one that would raise the light by a couple of inches which should also sort it

Yeah, it's one of those cheapos. I know I could play with the bags a bit but hoping there's some link to some top of fork mount or something....

I made an extender for my Revo light, it should work on all Exposure mounts I guess. Basically it's a countersunk head screw up the middle of a piece of tube, in my case for added bling an offcut of carbon fibre tri bar extension, screwed into the light housing and loctited.

I dont think there is enough space for you to use the fork assuming there is a hole at the crown

How about moving it (lamp) to the side?

On my fatbike I often have a big roll and acc. bag on the front, but it sits lower and the lamp sits between pogie and stem. Not perfect, but works okay.

On our everyday/touring bikes the lamp head sits upside down beneath the rack, out of the way of shopping bags etc. Perhaps a fork mount would work on your bike.

Assume so but doesnt the low angle mean is a bit of a rubbish place for off road?

I prefer low positioned light 'cause it casts a shadow behind objects rather than flooding them with light from my POV.

Can’t you angle the cradle down a bit so the bag sits lower? Looks like there is still a decent bit of clearance to work with.

Might just be the photo but the bag you have looks oval and is oriented in a way which puts he pocket in the way of the light.

You could also supplement with a helmet light to infill any gaps in coverage

It's a 20g Co2 cannister for inflating a tubeless tyre if all else fails. I've made an adapter with a short length of rubber hose so once the wheel is removed from the bike, it can be re-inflated without dismantling the garmin mount. I love gadgets that are multi-use, Heath Robinson at your service.

Google "bicycle accessory mounting bracket " there's loads available, I'd send you a link to the ones on amazon but it's in Spanish. The plastic ones are a bit fragile, I'd pay a bit more and get an aluminium one with a proper hinge.

Dunno if it works between the Spanish and English versions but if you find something on the American site then changing the ".com" to ".co.uk" in the URI brings the same product up on the UK site assuming the product is available here (in the UK). Presumably (and it makes sense) they use the same database codes across all their sites.

I’ve been browsing for these too.

Most of the mounts fix to a normal handlebar by the stem, then reduce to 22.2. Which is annoying.

If anyone spots a nice looking one that fits 31.8 to 31.8 would post up please?
