OT: door mats

Post by TheBrownDog »

I’ve just had my driveway relaid and the numbsters chucked my door mat in the skip. Sillies.

Googling worlds best door mat leaves me dazed and confused.

Any thoughts? I’d really like a coir mat but it’ll get wet? Does that matter?

That simply won’t do in the Chalfonts. Oddly, I’ve just been counting back on the folk who have rung my bell in the past year. Discounting Mei The Post and other deliveries, it’s been the Baptists and the coppers. So a feck off door mat seems quite appropriate.

And ffs why is the alarm going off on my bloody fridge.

I reckon a pile carpet at the door would be more appropriate in the Chalfonts..... a pile carpet... in the Chalfonts ... a... oh never mind...
And ffs why is the alarm going off on my bloody fridge.
Someone's broken into it to steal your secret stash of vintage cheddar?

Presumably they were responding to the fridge alarm?
