29" BOOST Front Wheels
Looking for a BOOST (15x110) front wheel to go in that snazzy fork I acquired, but have no idea. Was hoping that I could get a front wheel to match the Pro-Build Chosen/Alex Volar rear wheel I picked up from Merlin, but no dice. The cheapest I've managed to find is the Shimano MT600, anyone got one? Any good, or should I be looking else where...?

Re: 29" BOOST Front Wheels
Do you really need a new wheel or can you use a boost adaptor kit? Spacer for the disc and 2 spacers for the axle. Xc racer sell them and loads on ebay for cheapness
Re: 29" BOOST Front Wheels
Every shimano wheel or hub i've had has been reliable, strong, but not that light - which is fine. Otherwise try second hand, or superstar still do custom individual wheels i think. I've always found their wheels to be OK. Also just look at non-boost 29er front wheels (often on sale) and put a cheap boost kit on it?
Re: 29" BOOST Front Wheels
I don't have any 29" front wheels of any description. As the fork is BOOST, figured it would be easier and simpler to just buy a BOOST one.
Lighter than a Hope Fortus 26 and half the price, so seemed like a good option. Had forgotten about Superstar, again...faustus wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 3:18 pm Every shimano wheel or hub i've had has been reliable, strong, but not that light - which is fine. Re: 29" BOOST Front Wheels
I have a brand new boost front wheel bought for a frame Superstar £50 plus postage or £100 for the rear none boost.

will check later
Re: 29" BOOST Front Wheels
Well, I'm an absolute moron. Those Superstar wheels I picked up at the start of December, for some reason I thought they were compatible with the SiD SL Ultimate, but BOOST ≠ 100mm. So looks like I need some sort of adaptor kit after all. At least it'll be cheaperer than £40 for a new hub and £45 to a wheel rebuild.

Re: 29" BOOST Front Wheels
I've a spacer kit sat here doing nothing. two 5mm specars (for 15mm bolt through axle), 5mm rotor spacer (6 bolt) and the longer bolts for attaching spacer and rotor. You're welcome to it, perhaps chuck the Bear a few £?
