WTD: rear road wheel 700c,

Post by ChrisF »

Has anyone got a 700c rim brake road wheel they want to sell? Can be worn provided it has a bit of life left in it. Looking for something reasonably light as it's pretty hilly round here. QR and Shimano 10sp. Thanks

Hope road [ ie non disc] version with Mavic rim - not next to it so not sure what type
Bearing free wheel etc all fine.

Matching set if that matters and you want both

Any use?

I have a fair few spare front road wheels, but it's always the rear that wears the rim out first. I did pick up a rear on ebay a couple of months ago that was old but unworn and matches the front. Might be worth a look. I have a well worn Mavic Aksium if that's any good? I was going to save the hub and a few spokes and chuck the rim but you can have it for nothing (I'm near Warwick or will be doing the November bb200)

Thanks Lazarus and Steve. I'm interested in the Hope/Mavic - what rim is it and how much are you looking for? Oh, and what colour (black please  )?
