Mud Guards for my CX

Post by Firmo »

I'm struggling to find a mud guard that is suitable for my Dirty Disco CX, and am hoping someone can help.

I am running Smart Sam 700x35 tyres, and from what I can gather, most clip-on mudguards will only be suitable for smaller road wheels, and I am reluctant to stick MTB mudguards on (ie http://www.wiggle.co.uk/crud-racepac-29er-mudguard-set/)

Do you have any suggestions?

Can you not just stick some Mucky Nutz on? ... I know they're MTB guards but if you get the clear ones you'll not really notice them and let's be honest, no mudguard enhances a bikes looks ;)

I think the front ones would be OK, but I don't think the rear ones would prevent any riders behind me from getting a good soaking!
