Helinox or oex chairs

Post by fatbikerbill »

So I was wondering...

You can get the helinox chair for about £125 & 509g

Or you can get the oex version for £40 and 1250 g

Has anyone tried making or using bespoke carbon poles with the oex?

And if so what did it cost and what was the final weight?

Helinox. Best weight/comfort ratio around and packs quite small for what it is.
I'm just going outside ...

I've got the Decathlon one - £35/1kg. It's comfortable enough to sit on and I've taken on my tourer bike before, bungeed on top of the rear rack.

I have a helinox one and it is very nice. I also have an amazon one that cost £23 and it's also pretty good.

If you bought the helinox one for £100 it's worth it but if you bought the knock off one for £40 you might as well get a knock off one for £23!
