I'd just like to say ...
a very big and genuine thank you to everyone who responded to yesterday's 'end of year' email by pressing the big button at the bottom. I'd also very much like to extend that thank you to those people who quietly send something to the Towers each month to help keep things ticking over.
I appreciate I'm not usually the most convivial host, yet I class many here as friends and even those I've yet to meet, I consider to be potential friends - just as soon as I've sorted out the anger management issues and curbed the swearing and withering stares. I honestly believe that this place is a little bit special (in so many ways) and it's the people that make it so. As Reg said the other day "this isn't just another internet forum" and often, it really does feel like one big extended family with lots of weird uncles

Re: I'd just like to say ...
I'd like to say welcome, but, unfortunately, I can't and will happily take your post (despite surely not being meant as such) as a reminder. Cheers Stu.

Love popping in for a sanitary check as often as I can, I think there should be a sign above the exit to this place that says " You are entering the Asylum" For me this is as normal as I want to get, the rest of the world is bonkers!! A merry Christmas, Yule or Holiday to you all.
Thanks Douglas Adams for the Asylum idea I shamelessly stole!!

Well, tell you what, this place has genuinely changed my life. I thought I was the only one till I got on here. Now I know there's lots of "me" and some are way more "me" than I could ever be ..... does that make sense? Most importantly, I've made some great friends on here and I reckon they will stick with me till I hand in the cutlery.
Stu, thank you for what you do. I wish you and yours a super Christmas, and a safe and happy New Year.
Cheers chap

I only come here for the laughs and that did make me chuckle
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Pay attention at the back Smithers, I mentioned it in Cheery Friday a week ago as well . I think my writing must have been too small so you missed it .

I've had a lot of problems with work of late and got side tracked while job hunting and changing to a much better one 2 weeks ago.
Now I can pay attention a little more, sorry Sir Reg

Thanks Stu for keeping this place alive and thanks to everyone who contributes to this place.
Don’t personally know many people on here but feel like I do and need to make more effort to get along to things.
