The Bear Bones winter events merch

Post by The Boss »

Has anyone got a good memory regarding the Bear Bones merchandise from the past winter events? What have we produced over the years? Better still if you have a photo :-bd

I remember the hat, towel, bum bag and buff (did we do buffs twice)?

Cheers in advance

I've found some more but still think the list is missing some. These are items with bearbonesbikepacking on them. The sub standard extras (shovel, lighter, fluffy dice etc) were just that - extras and sub standard

Hat
Black buff
Flo green buff
Mug
Bumbag
Towel
Flask
Water bottle
Cycling cap

We can't actually remember how many winter events there have been. Anyone able to add to this please?

Did I imagine a bottle of wine that I drank before I set out?

I still wear the cap, as my head seems to have shrunk, meaning that my helmet is too loose.

I dropped my cap outside The Sportsman pub in Hayfield a few weeks ago. Someone found it, assumed it belonged to alexinthepeaks, and he assumed it belonged to me, which it did. :-bd

Will be genuinely chuffed to get it back.

I think there was a Tomb Raiders one too :-bd
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Blimey, you all have good memories!

Still use my WE goodies... except the fluffy dice, which hang proudly in the bike store... Actually, I guess that means I still use them...

Usually have a good laugh at the WE.... Or that maybe the uncontrollable shivering...

Oh yes 'Tomb Raiders' ... Dee attired the bear accordingly. No need for anyone to be offended, it's a cuddly bear with boobs, that's all.

Well remembered Steve, especially the year.

I've been into the archives:

2012 Mach n' Back
2013 El n' Back
2014 There n' Back (Spars were the grid refs)
2015 Ford Fiesta (Fluffy dice was one of the goodies)
2016 Bach 2 Bach
2017 Church or Chapel (Communion wine was one of the goodies)
2018 Cafe Racer
2019 Tomb Raiders (Sub standard shovel was one of the goodies)
2020 Dam Busters (Bertie Bear the co-pilot was one of the goodies)
2021 No event, you know why
