Mary Townley Loop Nov: anyone?
Right... after lots of editing I think I've managed to make a non offensive message.
________________________
Thinking of doing the Mary Townley Loop in November if anyone wants to join or if they'd like to depart at the same time (I'm rather slow).
Thinking to try and overlap it with the BB200, so I can take comfort in knowing there's lots of other sillies out there facing the elements but with a bit more climbing
Lemme know and due to religious reasons (yes, yes... I'm one of those 'muslims'), if it does become a group ride then I'll have to be on my own or in the boys group please. Don't be mad... sorry... did I say I'm muslim and different ethics.. sorry
There'll possibly be a pizza place at the end (if you wanna go) and 0 pubs (well, there might be pubs on your route/group but not mine... don't be mad).

I was thinking of the MTL whilst opening and closing them 'the mad farmer' gates... MTL farmers must get better subsidised...

Re: Mary Townley Loop Nov: anyone?
I was hoping to overlap it with the BB200 Jon. So we can enjoy their event from the comfort of the MTL (erm). Can be quite flexi with dates though. What's good for you pls?
Re: Mary Townley Loop Nov: anyone?
I can do that weekend (6/7)
I am assuming there is nothing too technical as my shoulder means no gnar at all currently. If.a gravel bike can get it down it them I am fine ( with suspension)
Plans to bivvy or not (.don't care either way tbh )

Nah... no bivy Jon. I don't think there's any gnar (in your books). Maybe a little but suspension should trickle over it. I'll be on full rigid. Pizza post ride on me (vegi or mix, whatever) as long as there's not an army to feed...

Isn't that EricRobo warm up ride?
Is this a in-a-day ride or over-night.
The nights getting shorter and all that....
clockwise /anti clockwise. As it were- but is it wise?
last October It was a gloop fest but thats what you are after.?
pizza, suppose that's A Rochdale or Hebden start...
Else where it pubs, so you'd have to sit out of those hostileries?

Start at the car park where the official route starts Dan
Pizza in Rochdale at a halal place I know who will also have vegetarian menu for Jon.
Pubs: hostileries... no, I don't see them as hostileries at all. Just don't frequent them or wish to revolve my life around em at all. Hope it didn't offend anyone
Gloop... erm... probably but hopefully dry enough. Start at the crack of dawn and hope to be back by sunset or well before (dunno).
Bring lights...

Food is at the end of the ride btw Dan... so we've prooperly earned it. Jump in car, drive down to Rochdale and eat...
Pizza on the menu (sorry to limit it) to make it easier on the pocket. Army= more than 4 or 5 (then everyone can pay their own way )
