Was staying up at Ullapool for a few days.
Had my bike, had my packraft and had a look at a map and came up with a plan.
Crossing Loch Broom
Bike and boat packed up, ready to push up the really steep hill
Lovely singletrack in Scoraig
Scoraig jetty - just need to get across to the other side to get picked up by my pal
Bike loaded on to the boat
Made it to the other side! Bit choppy/windy/current-y so was quite in a straight line!

Good effort!
Lots of strong tidal crescents in amongst the islands though plus the Ullapool to Stornaway ferry adding to the excitement. Maybe need to get Stu the sea dog up thereCharliecres wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 7:56 am Nice! Lots of possibilities up that way with bike and raft

I like the photo of the jetty and your bike - with a packable raft a view like that has new meaning or possibilities.
