I went for a spin over the South Downs and was dazzled by the lines. Had some lovely shots framed up but the light was constantly changing. Happy with these three though.
No hallucinogens required.
This heap of seaweed was so dark it sucked the light out of the landscape, reminds me of that paint Anish Kapoor uses. I like the way it echoes the silhouette of the ridgeline or the effect torn paper. Would have been better if the clouds were milky white or the sky was a solid deep blue.
It all got a bit post-apocalyptic.

Some of my WRT photos
Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you like.
Snapped this just before descending Devil's Staircase on the West Highland Way. Was buzzing from an absolutely vaguely exciting ride, and the fact that on this day, like the 3 days before it, I seemed to be permanently riding towards blue skies, as clouds and rain filled in behind me. Literally never been so lucky with the weather before!

There's been some seriously nice photos posted lately. You lucky, lucky, lot...
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

I took this shot on Tuesday while doing the Tour of the Cairngorms/ outer loop variation. Shame about the randomly placed bumbag but it was a nice view of the Dee and my bike.

this beut was chilling out on our overgrown Buddleja.
I guess it must be male, with all that body hair!
I suppose you tend to notice the wings, not the body..
I'm impressed this shot came out with a smartphone to hand.

Getting back into it.
First shot of the day. Not perfect, but it was what was lurking in my brain.

Both lovely and there's something about that first one that keeps drawing me back to it. Not that I remember the colours being quite that glorious at the time though that might have been the 9k of paddling
