Anyone live near-ish to Alnwick ?

just wondering if anyone lives near Alnwick.

me and the wife a going on a bike tour for a week. looking for somewhere to leave the car.
normally pay to park whilst riding, but nothing available in the area.

anyone ?

I'm in Newcastle. Probably not that helpful, but I could try and think of somewhere. How close do you need to be?

20 miles tops.

Had a think and a look at the map buy nothing popping out. Plenty of parking by the coast, but a car left for a week might stick out.

I don't think you'd have any problem finding a quiet side street on the edge of Alnwick where I'd be happy leaving mine. If you want something more concrete, have you tried asking on STW? I think Drac's in Alnwick.

i have been looking on google maps, both Alnwick and Alnmouth have some quiet spots. i will probably dump it on a quiet street.
