i saw that the other day. and thought to myself ' i have nothing but time on my hands now, i could do that'.
wonder how long it would take. i cycled just short of 7000 miles last year, and it took me 700 hours.

It seems more like a trail network project with the Eastern Divide being the marketing name (which is fine) so I suspect not many people will do the whole lot. ITT'ing it would be a fair old challenge as you'd need to suss out your pitstops for tyres, chains and sprockets.

I seem to remember a coast to coast trail, a motorcycle trail that cyclists were using. At the moment I'm in a tent with rubbish internet, I'll have a look later in the week when I get home.
