Any UK stockists of Bar Mitts?

Post by slowupslowdown-under »

After being stung twice for import on stuff from the states (when the chuffing Royal Mail admin fee is actually higher than the tax) I am trying to find uk stockists for stuff!

After bars mitts for both drops and flats (well, Jones!) bars

Anyone know where I could get some from?

Thank you!

Any motorcycle shop, or eBay search for "handlebar muffs".

e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTORCYCLE-HA ... 1306238891
or http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OXFORD-MOTORC ... 3efa1d150f

Think that's what you're after?

Not that brand but a UK based alternative.

I've got both Hotpogs and Barmitts. They're both good and do the job.

I quite like the Hotpogs because: They're cheaper, you can pick your own colour, they do a pair with a rather nifty map pocket on top and they're made over here.

Barmitts were being sold in the UK by a kayak company but I can't remember the name now ... I'll have a think, they sent us some for the WRT one year so I should have some record.

You're in charge of how the clock displays ... you can change it in the user control panel up there ^ ;)

Here we go ... these are the folks who were bringing Bar-mitts in. Looks like they're still supplying kayak stuff but not mitts. Might be worth an ask though.

Really happy with my HotPogs. I got the basic ones last winter and would happily recommend them. The higher spec models look good for the price too.

Before anyone asks - yes they work OK with Jones Loop bars.
