Am I missing something?
I see that SP have 'Blaze' lights. They look very good - fully waterproof, magentic charging and good run times. However, they begin by stating that both the front and rear lights provide a high degree of visibility during day light hours then, they say that the lights feature a sensor that switches them on when it goes dark and off when it comes light. I can only assume that you can override that function

They probably have a daytime mode. I have lights which are either in 'off', 'on' or 'daytime' mode. 'On' mode means that they are not lit up when it is daylight but when it gets dark or I go through a tunnel, they illuminate. They also light up when I brake. 'Daytime' mode means they are on all the time and become brighter when I brake.

IME daytime is a very bright flash night time is less bright
