Wtd: 11 Speed rear mech
Has to be Shimano. In very very good condition but happy with summat that just needs the jockey wheels changing. Preferably SLX or above please.

Got a Sram GX and shifter if you need a matched pair- works with any 11 speed cassette

Sounds very tempting Steven. Might or might not give it a miss and hold out for a Shimano to go with the XT shifter I already have...
For reference, how much would you want for it ( ) pls inclusive of delivery...
Re: Wtd: 11 Speed rear mech
I don’t know how much they go for Shaf - maybe £35 or so?

Thanks Steve... Trying for an xtr on fleabay for £85 which he might (probably not) knock down a little. Might end up shouting very shortly...

Hi Shaf - I got some PM's from you but they've been deleted. Did you mean to delete them?

Hi Steve... yes, I'd thought about taking the bargain you offered but then thinking about SRAM and my lovely XT shifter which would become obsolete, got me rethinking. Decided to hold out for a Shimano so I can continue enjoying my XT. I hate the way SRAM do their clickiness
You never know, I might be back at your door by this eve if I don't manage to get myself sorted. Need the bike up and running asap you see

I may be talking aboslute bollocks, but i thought a Shimano 10spd rear mech has the same travel as an 11 spd and were interchangeable. Its the shifter that does the indexing.
But I may have dreamt it / made that up.

Interesting. I think you're talking about using a 9 speed xtr mech to run a 10 speed road bike shifter. It turns out to work spot on for a big gear range.Specialist Hoprocker wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 7:28 pm I may be talking aboslute bollocks, but i thought a Shimano 10spd rear mech has the same travel as an 11 spd and were interchangeable. Anyway, hopefully all sorted as I 'got myself a shiny xtr off the bay with a bit of play*'...
*quite literally but I'm yet to see an xtr or DA with play so will be interesting to see it. Butcher says 'hello' (and was bought in perfect timing so ta again)
