Well that's gone and done it, i now HAVE to go!
Whats the terrain actually like James? is it mostly gravelly like the video, or was that making it look more appealing than it is?

Mostly gravel or rough tracks. Only a few bits really need a little care, the washboarded roads can be hard work though. A lot of rigid bikes on the route. Really nice route and friendly people.

If you wanted a more singletrack route look at the 500 mile Colorado Trail. For me my next trip is likely to be in Idaho:

Enjoyed watching that. Definitely an ambition of mine to ride it, however, im not sure ill be able to get fit enough or get the time off work to do so any time in the next few years.

I certainly hold an ambition to do the TD. Sadly I also think though that the hardest part won't be the 2700miles it will be getting the month off work... :x
