Well it failed at first hurdle as they put paper instructions IN the flask and I can’t get them outBearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 5:44 pmYou'll be made up or your money back and 9 out of 10 cats prefer it.It had better be as good as you said Stu

Nice, ton
More mundane stuff for me - pair of freehub bearings for a new (to me) Hope wheel. £17's worth, and that's only half the bearings from one wheel: bike, eh.
Fortunately they go through the letterbox... despite being in to receive parcels being one of the perks of WFH, this week I've missed the post 3 times due to being intractably involved in virtual meetings

To be fair, I got mine out, so that make me think it's perhaps you rather than the flask which is letting the side down ... you've not signed up for the Crystal Maze any time soon have you?Well it failed at first hurdle as they put paper instructions IN the flask and I can’t get them out

There are too many variables here to compare competences. Did you use tools? We’re yours folded in the same manner as mine? I used to watch the Crystal Maze a lot but don’t remember Richard stuffing a flask with paper and then sticking it in a room for a load of middle manager types to scream at. I’m going to the basement for some long nosed pliers.Bearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 6:42 pmTo be fair, I got mine out, so that make me think it's perhaps you rather than the flask which is letting the side down ... you've not signed up for the Crystal Maze any time soon have you?Well it failed at first hurdle as they put paper instructions IN the flask and I can’t get them out

You need instructions on how to use a flask?
If not, just fill it with hot water, wait for it to soften and pour it out.

Yeah Mk 1 I got "lucky" with Wiggle ebay selling one so I got a ti one for just under £50 - possibly fitted as its just the saddle but no marks on rails or seatThese used to be my go to, I thought they had completely stopped production ages ago
They are discontinued but you can find odd colour scheme ones online - this is just plain black.
I got another one of them earlier in the year wiith a rip in the groove which i repaired with sho gloo and is holding up fine.
Not sure there will be many more available hence hoarding. so I managed to get three [other two are cro mo] in the last year or so - one of them is an awful lime green colour that in no way matches the "british racing green" salasa it is on.

Yep. Wondered about 0.2 but 0.1 is just right. Holds shape well. My 750 shield is still going strong.
I wouldn't be surprised if some sticky-backed-plastic is also involved somewhere in my Blue Peter-ish construction attempt .

Your going to have to carry some extra ballast to stop the £££ ultra, flyweight windshield blowing away!
