I'm after one or a pair of road tyres in retro 26" size.
The narrower and lighter the better - a 'proper' road tyre around 28mm and sub 300g would be perfect - but interested in anything narrower and lighter than the pair of 40mm City Jets I currently have. Might also be interested in matching presta inner tubes if you have some light narrow 26" ones that are in good condition.
Not looking to spend 50 quid on a new pair of tyres and thought people must have piles of old 26" tyres they want rid of, no?

I've got some 26" slicks Paul but they might not be as narrow or light as you want. I'll have a look.
Edit: I've had a look. They're Michelin 'Wild Run'R' in a 1.4" flavour, so roughly 35mm. Wired bead so probably not light.

May the bridges you burn light your way

Yes, wired bead will probably mean 500g, but thanks for looking Stu.Bearbonesnorm wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 11:42 am They're Michelin 'Wild Run'R' in a 1.4" flavour, so roughly 35mm. Wired bead so probably not light.

Got an old Conti Sport Contact 1.25 ish somewhere, think it's a wire bead. Yours for postage if of any use.
