Floating Points - had been meaning to invest some time listing to his work properly. Very much like.

Easier listening side of some of what he has done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8fFo4REHOE

I love Floating Points, kind of a milder, less unhinged Aphex Twin with nicer melodies. :-bd

Well described :)

Massive Aphex Twin fan, but as I've aged I've found some of his material I cannot listen to any more.

I've started putting the you tube links from here into a bear bones playlist, which I listened to at the weekend while finally making myself tidy up my bedroom. One of the more weird and wonderful hours of my life

Was browsing round Amazon Prime Video and found a film about The Anti Nowhere League. It was bloody brilliant.

So what, I hear you say.

Signed up for Youtube premium and I'm finding so much music from my "youth"

I was into electronica and this album came out when I was 18.

Although instrumental (almost) I still can remember every note as if it was yesterday, I lost the vinyl album many years ago somewhere when moving house.

Here it is forever....
Ladies and Gentlemen I proudly introduce you to the brilliant album .....

Does anyone actually own a cassette deck these days...!?! They released two ~600 MB WAV files of music from old tapes for Warp's 30th birthday. For some reason, I'd not downloaded them, odd considering they're free to download off the Warp website. I was planning on buying Plus and Sign on Vinyl next month, but those will have to wait till next year now, as I bought a load of other stuff.

My board of things to buy doubled in size over the weekend. I need to win the lottery or sell a kindey, or something. The top line currently looks like (they're not in any particular order):

1gb of old Warp Records? "I may be gone for some time..."

Something reminded me of a track on this, Rabbit in the Moon. Had to look up the whole album - Sasha and Digweed, Northern Exposure 1

Quite possibly their best effort, and the bar was very high after Renaissance: The Mix Collection...
