does anyone have any recommendations or suggested routes in or around the Forest of Dean?
Thanks

What sort of route / distance / time you looking for?
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.
Re: Forest of Dean
Hi. Anything from sub 10 mile family friendly loops, through to 30-50 milers suitable for a hardtail would be great.

Oh you're in for some fun. My Very Active Girlfriend grew up in Drybrook and has taken me on some genuinely brilliant rides in that area. It's a bit like the Chilterns in that you just have got to know where you're going to get a decent ride in to avoid deer gates and long drags along A roads. Really wish I'd recorded the last one - 20 miles of single track and bridle paths, great climbs to great views and super downhills and loads of interesting stuff to gander at along the way.
I'm just going outside ...

There’s quite a few gravel routes around the FofD here:
