Carver 96er?

Post by restlessshawn »

Did someone on here have one or did I imagine that? Any thoughts? I think they look great in a weird way :?

I assume they just use any 29er fork?

There doesn't seem to be a UK dealer though.

It was me, had it for a few years ... sold the frame to Nobby.

Superb bike, I also really liked the 'Clown Bike' look. Ran it SS and 1 x 10, really enjoyable either way. Ran mine with Bonty carbon 29er forks.

Rockstar Racing were the importer but as you say I don't think there's one these days. There were a few frames for sale on STW a couple of weeks ago ... might be worth a search.

Cheers, any better riding than a hombrewed Inbred 69er (which I think you also had)?

Just remembered that it had Reba's for a short while.

Never had a homegrown one, although I've ridden them. Can't really say if it's better or not as apart from the wheel sizes the bikes were pretty different.

Looks good stu

Inbred would never go but just get built back up with the 26" suspension front. Just toying with ideas.
