Anybody fancy lending me a revelate seat bag? Blame Wildcat.

Post by Matt »

I want a Wildcat seat bag but it seems Ian hasn't got this off the ground yet,,,,... so...

Going to cycle from London to Wales in a couple of weeks and would really like to ditch the rucksac.

Anybody want to sell / lend us a big saddle bag?

How big does it need to be Matt? I've a few things which might do the trick.

And you'll be the first to get one when they are available, Matt :)

Seriously, there's a stack of stuff to do at the moment and with frame bag and Mountain Lion orders to process there's a shortage of time for development. We're getting as many inquiries for the Lioness as we are the seat system, so there's a dilemma in which to do first. Hoping to get something up to working prototype later this month though, so yes, I hear you!

In the meantime, I have a Revelate seat pack (the Pika) if you would like to borrow it?

I'm glad, seeing as we named it after you ;)

I'm also quite excited about the Lioness - time has allowed me to think through various options and rather than "design" a bag with some straps on it, it'll actually be a bit different and hopefully more functional. It will also integrate nicely with the Mountain Lion.

I'll put the seat pack it in the post to the usual address.

Thanks, but I've got some actually - bought from the same place as you I think. I'm part way through making another clone, but it's quite a bit more difficult to work than the 0.15mm stuff. Not entirely sure it's going to work, as I'm using it on a narrow diameter pan. I also found that it doesn't fold all that well, and a couple of fins have snapped off where you clip it around itself :(

Send me some Yorkshire tea bags instead, and I'll make myself some bara brith. I've only got PG Tips in the house, and wouldn't want to ruin it ;)
