The 5ltr v twin is great, I seem to remember some lunatic chopping down a spitfire engine to do something similar a few years ago.

Good find - I've seen a few of his creations in various bike mags over the years. I also hadn't appreciated he was the guy doing the home made DH bikes!

Markus Stitz has a new one on Youtube. Filmed last year in Argyll but with a very topical theme.

He's a legend, I followed him on social media as he rode it. He looked like a young boy when he left and came back a man.

There's a good selection here. Some quite short, some longer, some all-action, some more esoteric. Some already mentioned here no doubt:

Seconded, watched it a couple of years ago. Made me long for the time to go for a really long walk.

Not biking related. Just watched "Climbing Blind" on IPlayer. About the first blind person to lead the Original Route on The Old Man of Hoy. One of the best bits of telly I've seen in ages.

If you have prime

Ride to Extraordinary is good to watch, follows the Trans North Georgia (bikepacking) Race.

7 episodes of about 20-25 mins, so will pass plenty of time :-bd

Yes - I’m watching loads of TV at the moment  What with Mrs-voodoo working night shifts

Watched the first couple of minutes, and it seems like an expensive Disney land.

Never worked out why Nepal havent made it a prerequisite to sumit some of the easier peaks first before they give you the permit for the big one.

Aye its totally bizarre. Plus having read 'Into thin air' I wouldn't go near one of those expeditions even if I could afford a second mortgage....
