I figured it was a house spider - but I don't know much about them!
Slightly more ominous version as well:

Sometimes spiders are not dead at all!
You find their previous skin.
Because it's an exoskeleton,to grow larger as they mature, they have to remove/ climb out of the old exoskeleton.
Then it expands the body while soft, the new exoskeleton then drys ..voila!

Nice one JC, my home town...
Not from the last month, but you might appreciate this:

Got really lucky with the timing, the guy just rolled through the frame as I was setting myself.
Bonus: the bike is a Fuji Feather

Tip:
Use ±500mm long* rod, or an old tent pole**, to brace the bike upright for those times when there's nothing else to hand. With careful composition the rod wont be seen.
IMO Pics are far less dramatic if the bike is sleeping ;-)
* This will vary depending on your bike.
Edit ** Sorry, forgot my manners. The best, and on this forum, most appropriate solution is a custom made carbon item from Capt BB.

I can't claim this one, it was my 3 year old in the trailer behind me:

Una's expression sums up how lots of us are feeling, looking longingly at the outside world through the window.
She's obviously got her dad's eye for framing a picture, I really like the one from the trailer, the angled horizon adds the sense of movement to the shot

Thanks Sean. It was taken while she was watching our neighbours kid in our shared garden - hence she couldn’t go play in the garden.
She has taken a surprisingly large amount of semi decent photos, lots of dross, but she is 3. I like that the haze in the sky is chequered, as it’s through the bug mesh.

One from an early morning packrafting session on Friday:
One of the dog I took a few weeks ago for a "low key" challenge:
I finished off a roll of film I started a couple of years ago and got it developed. Some from a wander round Newcastle city centre during lockdown - I haven't quite captured how surreal it was I don't think - and another of the dog.
Finally, and more on topic, a random shot while I was building a wheel, but I quite like the colours:

I was just flicking through this thread, and realised that that is my vet! (and fellow dark peak fell runner) excellent atmospheric shot.
