Amongst other things, Tom Devines book on the Scottish Clearances. Amongst other things it adds to my understanding of the areas I tend to ride/run/hike through. I'll be reading it in short stints else my temper boils over.

Reading Alastair McIntosh's "Soil and Soul" at the moment. Excellent, if blood-boiling (and I'm English), read on a similar topic.htrider wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 9:49 pmOoh that'll be a good read, doubtless will make my blood boil also (and I'm an incomer!) but been looking for a good account of the clearances for a whileJurassic pusher wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 6:34 pmI expect that is a very interesting book.ScotRoutes wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 5:35 pm Amongst other things, Tom Devines book on the Scottish Clearances.
