Soar-y-Mynydd Chapel to Tyncornel track

Post by composite »

The last time I was really active in the Lyn Brainne area (sadly several years ago) the track that runs from Soar-y-Mynydd Chapel to Tyncornel YHA had a massive gully cut into it by water damage. I think the track might have even been officially closed for a while?

Is this still the case or has that been repaired now?

Yes, rode it last year and it's back to "normal". All repaired, and if anything a bit looser than before, but fully rideable.

What've you got planned?

I rode it in October in horrible conditions. The track itself was fine!

Putting together some routes for a multiday DIY gravel/road Audax. Some brevetpacking if you will.
