The oldest yew in London (apparently) and the only one on that map in North London is right by me, I've always been meaning to check it out but have never got round to it. It's so close it hasn't been worth it but it's also a drive/ride/walk on the main road so never bothered as there are some much lovelier trail/paths that I preferred to use

It does look like a majority are in estates and well-known woods. Glad to see it marks the site of the tallest London Plane in the UK (and tallest broadleaf tree), in the Brynaston school estate near Blandford. Used to ride past them all the time, and it is huge.

There's an old Yew just down the road from me, the map shows it about 10 miles away.
