Ah righty... Makes it a nice cosy little event anyway.

Blimey, quite amazing that people want to go out in those numbers. Mind you, every time I've been I've missed the snow, that was what I always wanted (it did snow, just never settled). Even spent the new year period in Snowdonia last year and no snow, boo

Blimey, this bikepacking lark's getting popular isn't it...
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Bike now booked on all the trains, and the "The Blue Room" booked at the Star. Arriving Caersws Fri 10th at 14.30 if anyone misguidedly fancies a pleasant (ie. freezing and steep) ride over to Dylife.
Quite a few options on the "dam" front - unless Stu's mis-spelled it by mistake, and the event is really "The Damn Busters". If it isn't mis-spelled, bagsy we have Mr Scott Of The Woods in our group please then we'll have our own expert Welsh dams consultant close at hand .
Getting all excited and not even done Winter Bivvy yet.
